Introducing my friend and colleague from Mpungu, sub County of Kanungu, District Uganda. His name is Gedfrey Byamukama. He goes by Godfrey.
Judy & I plan to collaborate with Godfrey and his community. We are especially interested in helping them with early child intervention, preschool & after school programs.
I want to offer my long experience and skills in community building, economic development and technology. Looks like a way for both of us to reach out to a community far from the Oregon Coast to make a difference on those things we most care about.
As a dear friend once said, “Dream Big, Steve, dream big!”

Since I was born as an orphan now am old but I still have torments and torture in the brain because of the discrimination, envy, jealous and luck of support with no love.

Receive my testimony and come back to me.

Thanks,
Godfrey

Greetings from my family and friends in Uganda.
Thank you for your reply sooner than I waited for your solution.
The following are some of the challenges I have met since my childhood;
1, Lacked parental Care and love since I was born an orphan. On this note it may result into mental disorder in the long run.
2. Discrimination and Mistreatment during my growth.
3, Lack of school fees and other related requirements a child would need to make a complete and sound person. I think no one thought that I would become an important person today.
I had some time back in my document development wrote a paper ” Suffering to nil amidist friends and relatives with resources” and also “Success and it’s Means” 3rdly ” Becoming Compassionate with Grace” all have been my development as a result of the relief I could enjoy after a journey of suffering and happiness touching on the heart of the general value in good people accross the globe .
I got an opportunity to study in 2003 at Kinkiizi high school for Secondary education after primary Seven in 2002 when I was carrying the lagage for my uncle’s son Called *Byaruhanga Gard* which was heavy for him to carry alone and requested me to accompany him to school.
Reaching there the Headteacher saw me in the compound going back home and called me and asked me whether I was a student and I told him that I accompanying my friend.
He sent me back to go back and I come with books and uniform which I couldn’t get. I would pick old shirts and trousers under the deckers in the dometry while cleaning and sweeping especially during holidays when other students had gone home remember I worked as a School potter during study and holiday season. The Head Teacher offered me a job of being a school potter to work as the school pays for my fees.
I planted many trees for the school and now it is a source of firewood and timbers for the school. Looked after school cows, Cut the compound to maintain cleanliness regularly etc.
For a period of six years suffering and doing heavy work. I asked myself why suffer all this. In 2003 first term when *Can. John Basinwire* had given me an opportunity to study in senior one, I never got the mattress, shoes, shirts and sheets, brankets, for the first year *Mujuni Robert* from my village gave me to sleep with him on the same bed using the bedsheets and everything for the whole year. Other students would Study without any disturbance but it was different on my life.

When I had suffered much and no one was caring for me for a period of five months, not feeding on the meals I needed, no poridge and milk. This time I was staying with my late grandmother life became so complicated and nothing good I saw by the time.
I looked around no father. My mother was there but I didn’t stay with her for the rest of my life. I also imagined if all orphans go through such horrible and uncared life without basic needs, abuse and hard punishments like those I was subjected.

The hardest time is when after reasoning poorly and miscalculated my days in this world from my life during when I was sick for a long time about 4 months, I tried to kill and finish my life by drinking the drug which I sent a young girl to buy in the shop, the rat paste since I was tired.
Unfortunately and fortunately it did not kill me after taking. Another day when I had lost hope from lack of fees, I wanted to drawn myself in the big river but when I sung a Christian song it healed me from anger and again servived.

Another day when I was grazing animals near the Bwindi impenetrable National Park forest a bad boy who used to hear how they used to abuse me in the family caught me and threw me on the bee hive after he run away and left me falling with the bees. Fortunately no bee that stung me.
Today after I had acquired education through the support of my *Lord Bishop Dan Zoreka* and other passionate people, I still have the desire to go higher for more advanced Education especially PhD.

I have got a small land outside my village. But I don’t have money to develop it and I establish my own family.

Sometimes my life is not defined properly not until I get funds to start projects to support my family. I’m now married to Akampurira Honest and we have three children Gavin, Glen and Gleick Akanjuna. They are studying p3, Top Class and the third born is breast feeding.

My wife Honest Akampurira is studying a Diploma in Social Work and Social Administration 2nd Year and am also studying a Masters Degree in Theology and Development of Bishop Barham University Kabale a course that would change my mental operations in preparation to the actual use of my ideas to help transform communities in Uganda and far.  This is paid by the Diocese of Kinkiizi.

I need to create many friends and collaborate with them for entrepreneurship and capacity building so much so that I can have a base of income generation and do community influence on the way people live more especially enjoying total freedom and improved lives, otherwise if I don’t develop fully they hurt me and my children and my wife.
Despite my difficult situation, the lord’s grace and mercy was still available for me. After getting married, the Diocese selected me to study Bachelors degree of Divinity because I was a well behaved Christian boy. Straight away, I went to college with tuition covered by the Diocese of Kinkiizi.   I thank *Bishop Dan Zoreka, Mr. Steve Sparks and his Wife Judy Sparks, Claire Elizabeth Hall* and other physical, spiritual leaders who supported me even when they never knew my life. They are fundamentalist in mutual life changing experience and intervention for a collective soul conservation. I cherish you for the world work contribution on human growth and development Wholistically, the rewards a far much awesome.
Right away from my childhood, I grew up wanting every child to have a good life, and not have a troubled lifestyle that I went through because it was a challenging life.
LESSONS
The fear of God is the beginning of Knowledge and wisdom
Obedience and patience give good rewards
Being born from a poor background doesn’t mean failure in life and education
Suffering doesn’t mean the end of life.
God has the full picture and destiny of every person and God’s timing is the best.
There are still people of God out there and here who holds the deginity and have reserved themselves for life Management and supportive role for unhappy or helpless souls.
Thanks for your friendship and counseling me.

I request that you connect me with passionate people.
